Who Is Samy Wassil?

I have always seen the world through a fully digital lens, constantly on the lookout for the slightest technological advance. This passion and this way of seeing our world come from my geek side, which I proudly claim, ever since my earliest childhood! I still remember the first computer we had at home, an Atari 1040 STF with 1 MB of RAM, which was quite a feat for a mass-market PC at the time, and it was on this machine, with a CPU of only 8 MHz, that I learned my first programming language: Basic. As a child, I was also fascinated by the marketer’s job, to the point of knowing all the TV commercials by heart; to the child I was, they looked more like magicians with the power to make us love whatever they wanted! As I grew older, I became increasingly passionate about the automotive world and, in particular, some of its so‑called noble mechanics; I loved – and still love – listening to, appreciating, and living with the vocal tones and the enchantment hidden in their engines. Faced with the dilemma of choosing a university path and after careful consideration, I decided to pursue State engineering studies in mechanics, a discipline that immersed me in the very essence of engineering and its main objective: how to react when faced with any problem and find the most optimal solution – that is the engineer’s way of thinking. After earning my engineering degree with honors, I continued my academic path by preparing a Magister in advanced mechanics (BAC +8), which I also completed successfully with honors. In parallel with my studies, I taught at the University of Science and Technology to L2, L3, Master 1, and Master 2 classes. This journey ultimately opened the door and encouraged me to move into entrepreneurship, which allowed me to found my own company and nurture my three (3) passions: marketing, engineering and its application to automotive, and, finally, the IT world and the growing digitalization of the most common aspects of our daily lives. A dream that I made come true in 2013, starting as the sole employee of MUST Communication agency and reaching 34 collaborators by 2018. Our clients included multinational automotive companies and high‑potential economic players such as banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies. Among our clients there were also engineering firms operating mainly in energy and hydrocarbons, but not only; I made it a point of honor to support small very‑small‑businesses (TPEs) in such a way as to help them enter their target markets. Promoting a culture of multidisciplinary education, I also chose a hybrid Master 2 & MBA in Digital Marketing & Digital Economy at EFAP Paris, recognized as the best degree from Grande Écoles four (4) years in a row and certified RNCP 7 in France (equivalent to an Engineering or Master II degree). With 15 years of experience in the automotive and engineering fields and over 20 years in Communication & Marketing (by 2025), I have practically touched all the components of this profession. I was an entrepreneur and business owner for eleven (11) wonderful years, during which I was able to truly flourish, learn many things, and make mistakes that helped me grow and refine my way of thinking, and today, I aspire to something else: new challenges and new goals.
